Barca give Busquets a month to decide: stay or go to MLS?

Busquets' contract with Barca is about to run out. In June he will be free and will be free to leave for any club he wants if he does not sign a new contract.
Barcelona have already made him a renewal offer, but that is not the only proposal Busquets has on the table. The player has never hidden the fact that he is attracted to the MLS and some other American clubs have also offered him the chance to join their ranks.

Barca have reportedly offered him a one-season contract with an option for a further season. His salary would be around three million euros net, a figure, according to the Catalan newspaper, that would be well below what he currently earns.
Right now, Busquets is comfortable with his role at FC Barcelona, which could tip the balance in favour of his continuity. In any case, he has always maintained that he would like to try his luck in the United States and, with several clubs interested, anything is possible.
