Barca invite Messi to Busquets' and Alba's farewell events

Lionel Messi's future is still up in the air. The Argentinian will be out of contract with PSG after the 22/23 season and it seems he won't renew his connection with the club for next season.
Barcelona have seen the possibility of bringing back one of their club's legends in the transfer window, and over the last few days have presented a financial plan to La Liga in order to try and carry out their signing of the Argentinian.
The Catalan side started to make moves towards the star's team, although Xavi Hernandez made it very clear that the return would be spearheaded by the Argentinian's wishes, as no offer from Barca could compete with the allure of a Saudi salary.
However, beyond this situation, the Barcelona management, in attempts to improve relations between the two parties, invited Messi to the club's events so he could be part of the Busquets' and Alba's farewells.
The events will take place on the 31st May and 1st June respectively, but the Argentinian's presence is not confirmed, as he is focused on the final days of the Ligue 1 season. According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the World Cup winner has not responded.
It will all depend on what happens on Saturday between PSG and Strasbourg. A victory would give the Parisians the title. Should Messi be crowned champion, it is possible that he will come to Barcelona to bid farewell to his friends.
