Barca to offer Busquets a renewal with a lower salary

Sergio Busquets finishes his contract with Barcelona on 30th June, and he still doesn't know where he will play the day after. Barcelona want to keep him, but not at any price.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the offer that Barcelona will make to the midfielder is lower than what he currently earns. All because of Barcelona's difficult financial situation with regard to the 'Financial Fair Play'.
Barcelona know that financially they cannot compete with Inter Miami or Al Nassr, the other clubs that have shown interest, so they are appealing to the player's feelings to make him stay.
If Busquets accepts the MLS offer, the Catalan giants will offer him a six-month contract only, and he will join Inter Miami in January.
Barcelona's plan is to sign Sofyan Amrabat as a '5' and that Busquets can be, at least for a few months, the Moroccan midfielder's substitute.
