Barcelona owe Busquets two years wages

FC Barcelona's financial situation is quite worrying. The Catalan side are paying too much in wages and have to take action if they want to make sure the club's economic situation is allowed.
Players leaving in January and the summer has been talked about. For now, there are Catalan media who believe Sergio Busquets will not stay next season, and that this would help alleviate things.
Interestingly, 'SER Catalunya', who are the at the root of this, have reported that Barcelona owe the player two years worth of wages, due to delayed payments, and renegotiations to assure the club could survive.
This makes it even harder for the midfielder, whose contract ends next June, to stay. A possible move to the MLS, in particular Inter Miami, has been spoken about.
