Busquets on joining Inter Miami: "The American lifestyle is a dream"

Sergio Busquets has decided to join Inter Miami to play alongside former teammate Lionel Messi after leaving Barcelona and La Liga.
Reports have always claimed that the Spaniard did it to play with the Argentinian star again. However, the 35-year-old gave an interview to 'The Athletic' to talk about his decision.
"It's a lot easier when it's a country like the United States and a city like Miami. The American lifestyle is a dream for everyone. They do everything big here. Your possibilities are endless. All those things add up and it makes it possible for you to have the very best for yourself and your kids," he said.
Nevertheless, the midfielder also said Messi was a key factor in deciding his new destination. "Especially with Leo, who was finishing his contract [with PSG] and who had some doubts about staying in Europe or facing something new away from Europe. I had more clarity.
"We're happy and looking forward to settling here as soon as possible because change can be a bit stressful at the start, but we're really happy," he concluded.
