Trevoh Chalobah could pack his bags this winter transfer window. The Blues' young defender could leave in January in search of playing time on loan.
Despite reports a few months ago that the 24-year-old defender was denied a move to Bayern in the winter, Chelsea could now be open to letting their player leave on loan, according to The Sun.
Mauricio Pochettino's side will try to balance their books to comply with FFP rules, making the young defender one of the clear candidates to leave the London club this January. In addition, Chalobah has barely had any playing time for the Stamford Bridge outfit this season after picking up a hamstring injury in August.
Chalobah could try his luck in Serie A as he is on the radar of Roma, who are interested in strengthening their defence. Elsewhere, Tottenham Hotspur are also reportedly interested in landing the Blues defender on loan, so it is not out of the question that he could play in the second half of the season for another Premier League side.
