Manchester City showed no mercy against Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium. The Cityzens took all three points and climbed to the top of the Premier League table provisionally after crushing the Cherries. Jermy Doku, who scored a goal and provided four assists, was a nightmare for the visitors' defence. The Belgian winger scored the opening goal and set up Bernardo Silva to double the home side's lead. Akanji added a third when he deflected Doku's shot from the edge of the box and Foden, who replaced Haaland, scored the fourth after a great pass from Doku. Sinisterra pulled one back moments later but Bernardo Silva once again and Aké rounded off the victory for Guardiola's side.
