Manchester City managed to win the treble of Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup titles in the 2022/23 season thanks to their superb performances. This term they remain favourites to win it again.
The Sky Blues are third in the English top-flight table on 30 points but still have to play Wednesday's game against Aston Villa at Villa Park. They have won two games and drawn three in the last five matches played.
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola's men are top of the Champions League Group G table, having won their last five games and sitting on 15 points. As a result, the Spanish manager was asked if he would win the treble for the second time in a row.
His response surprised several reporters as the 52-year-old admitted that if he were to win it again, he would retire as a coach. "If we [Manchester City] win the Treble this season, I'll retire. That's for sure," he told 'Prime Video'.
