Lionel Messi is a star of world football. The Argentinian striker is in the spotlight and is already being loved by the fans of Inter Miami, where he will play next season.
However, the 35-year-old is no longer so loved by Paris Saint-Germain fans: "At the beginning it was great, I received a lot of encouragement, but people started to treat me differently. But these are things that have already happened with Mbappe and Neymar too, it's their way of doing things," he told 'beIN Sports'.
The Argentina international went on to add: "I came to Paris because I liked the club, I had friends there. It seemed easier to me to adapt unlike anywhere else I could have gone. It is for these reasons that I decided to come to this club.
"This [Paris Saint-Germain] was my first experience outside of Barcelona. It was a difficult adaptation, much more than I imagined despite knowing people in the dressing room.
"I arrived late, I had no pre-season preparation, with a new club, another way of playing, new teammates, the city, all that made my adaptation complicated at the start," he concluded.
The interview will be released on Saturday as 'beIN Sports' has only published a preview.
