Paris Saint-Germain are going through a worrying crisis. After getting knocked out of the Champions League, the Parisian side have gone through a lull in performances, meaning the Ligue 1 title and keeping Lionel Messi">Messi next season, as he is thought to have decided not to stay at the side.
On Wednesday, a group of fans got together outside the club to protest against the board and insult certain players, including Lionel Messi after he was sanctioned.
As if that wasn't enough, some of them even went to Neymar's house to chant from outside, insulting the Brazilian. Without goin any further, the ex-Santos player went to social media to confirm the abuse.
Faced with this situation, PSG decided to release a statement to condemn the violence which had arisen in recent hours, and to show their solidarity with the affected players.
Paris Saint-Germain most strongly condemns the intolerable and insulting actions of a small group of individuals that took place on Wednesday.
Whatever the differences of opinion, nothing justifies such actions. The Club gives its full support to its players, its staff and all those targeted by such shameful behaviour.
