Luke Shaw has been sidelined with a muscle problem since Manchester United's 2-0 loss at Tottenham on August 19. The Red Devils signed Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham Hotspur to take his place.
However, his return to action is just around the corner. The England left-back returned to training with his teammates on Wednesday morning after three months sidelined.
United have been blighted by injuries in defence, with right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka another who has been sidelined since sustaining an injury against Brighton on September 18.
Both Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund suffered minor problems in their side's 1-0 win over Luton Town and were unable to help the Danish national team in the international break. Goalkeeper Andre Onana is also sidelined with an injury sustained in international duty with Cameroon.
