It is now 10 months since Gareth Bale decided to call time on his 16-year career as a professional footballer, but the Welshman has not forgotten the clubs he played for.
An undisputed Tottenham legend after an unforgettable spell from 2007 to 2013, followed by a second in 2021/21 and more than 200 games played, the 34-year-old retiree will return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday evening for the Premier League clash with Chelsea.
On their website, Spurs announced that Bale will walk out onto the pitch at half-time to greet the Tottenham fans for whom he won the English League Cup in 2008.
In total, he scored 72 goals and provided 35 assists during his two spells in London.
