The last day of the season did not go well for Leicester, as despite their 2-1 victory over West Ham, they sunk to the Championship after just nine seasons in the Premier League. Now, facing a huge financial hit, the club will be looking to sell players, and their big names will be looking elsewhere to stay in top flight football.
'The Sun' claims that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in two players from the current Foxes squad. James Maddison, who is being targeted by several clubs, and Harvey Barnes could join the Spurs next campaign.
Both players have had superb performances this season and would not be happy if they were to play in the Championship next season due to their high level. Spurs will try to take advantage of their situation and will present them with offers in the next transfer window.
The same media outlet reports that Newcastle are also interested in signing them and both English teams will have to battle for their transfers. Elsewhere, Leicester will ask 40 million pounds for each footballer.
