Declan Rice, who joined Arsenal this summer for £105 million, has become one of the key players in Mikel Arteta's midfield. The 24-year-old left West Ham after 12 seasons with the London club.
The English midfielder has played four games in an Arsenal shirt in pre-season - against MLS All-Star, Manchester United, Monaco and Manchester City - but is already preparing for his Premier League debut.
Rice has already trained with his new teammates at the Gunners' training complex as have Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber. All three players will be hoping to make a good impression in front of their new fans.
The Gunners will play their first game of the season against Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday at 13.30 CEST. Mikel Arteta's men will be hoping to start the campaign with a good result.
