Messi to take part in Riquelme tribute match

Juan Roman Riquelme announced on Wednesday that his tribute match will take place on 25th June, which he said would feature the stellar presence of Lionel Messi.
"Messi will be there. For me, he is also a dream, the greatest player. We were lucky to have him and Maradona. He's going to be in the most beautiful stadium in the world, with the most wonderful people in the world," said Riquelme at a press conference where he was visibly moved.
The 44-year-old former player, one of the greatest players in the history of Boca Juniors, where he is currently second vice-president, said that every day he wonders why he is so loved.
"I don't understand it. I've been a football player, it's been nine years (since his last game), and for people to want to come to the stadium seems too much to me. On the 25th, the Bombonera will be wonderful again, as always," he said.
"I don't know if there will be more games, I'm getting older. The boys who are invited are saying yes to me. I don't know if all of them will be able to enter the Boca stadium," added one of the most famous 'Xeneizes' idols in a conference he gave with the president, Jorge Amor Ameal.
