Moving to Saudi Arabia is not on Griezmann's agenda

Antoine Griezmann was asked in the press room ahead of the friendly against Germany if he would go to Saudi Arabia and the French Atletico Madrid player said that everyone knows his main goal is to finish his career in the MLS.

The French national team is apparently facing a relaxed game against Germany. The French team, unbeaten leaders of their European Championship qualifying group, face the hosts of the upcoming tournament, who are currently going through a difficult time.
Griezmann, in the pre-match press conference, spoke about topics that had nothing to do with the match. Firstly, the French striker gave his opinion on whether he would go to Saudi football, as a number of players have done this summer.
“I completely understand the departures to Saudi Arabia. We see incredible sums, we earn a lot of money, but some want to secure their family and I find it normal to go there. Afterwards, will I have to go there? I have a family and continuing my career in MLS is my main goal", declared the 32-year-old forward.
Furthermore, Griezmann spoke about his chances of playing in the Olympic Games. "The most important thing is to qualify for the Euro. We know that there are only three players over a certain age who can do it, so there are a lot of questions, which is normal. When I watch the Games, I don't do it as a footballer, I do it as a fan like any other Frenchman. I was very attentive to the rugby match on Friday," said the player.
Finally, the striker assured that he is not 100% at his best. "Last year was complicated because at the beginning I only played 30 minutes. I'm still not at 100% right now, I've only had 20 days holiday after all the travelling we did during the pre-season. I'll get better and better", he concluded.
