Verratti considering leaving PSG

Last December, Marco Verratti signed a new deal with PSG until 30th June 2026. It was a renewal which came with a negative impact on his salary.

But PSG's current situation, who are in a footballing crisis as well as one off the field, mean that the Italian is thinking about leaving the French capital after arriving more than ten years ago now.
According to 'L'Equipe', the midfielder is nostalgic about the golden years at the club. when Zlatan Ibrahimovic and others led the Parisian changing room to good times.
This season, the squad has been close to imploding on several occasions. The different quibbles bettween Mbappe and Neymar, as well as Messi's recent suspension have meant the players aren't as together as they should be.
